Krka Criticised For Unethical Promotion

Slovenia-based generic drugmaker Krka has been criticised by Lithuania's Ethical Pharmaceutical Companies Association (EFA) for failing to comply with the country's 'Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Ethics'. A statement published on the EFA's website in December 2009 confirmed that Krka admitted violating the pharmaceutical marketing code of the ethics commission, which has continued to receive complaints regarding Krka's promotional activities, anticompetitive practices and potential conflicts of interest with healthcare
