Plans To Ban Pharmaceutical Re-Exports At Major Regional Port

The UAE government plans to ban the re-export of medicines in order to prevent unintentional trade of counterfeit drugs between Europe and other destinations via the UAE. BMI expect the news to receive mixed reviews within the industry, and we believe that better human resources and regulatory controls should be considered before imposing such a ban.
