Pharmaceutical Firm Acquitted Of Producing 'Fake' Drugs

One of the latest regional developments in West Africa is the acquittal of the Managing Director of Nigeria-based drugmaker Dean Pharmaceutical Limited, after the country's regulatory body NAFDAC alleged that the firm had been knowingly producing fake and substandard medicines. The case was investigated by a Federal high court in neighbouring Benin.
