Merck KGaA Increases Presence With Aquachim Acquistion

Germany-based multinational drugmaker Merck KGaA has completed the acquisition of Bulgarian company Aquachim's operations, which handle the distribution of Merck pharmaceuticals, the company confirmed on November 2 2009. In line with the acquisition, Merck has established a fully operational subsidiary in Bulgaria in order to further develop its business activities.
