Emerging Europe Becoming Slightly More Attractive

BMI's regional outlook for pharmaceutical companies in Emerging Europe has improved marginally, following an update to our Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Business Environment Ratings. For our Q110 update, the regional average pharmaceutical rating has improved to 49.4 (out of 100), from 48.7 in the previous quarter. This marks the first improvement in our ratings since Q209. Market risks have increased somewhat since the previous quarter; however, an improved economic outlook sees pharmaceutical market ratings improve for the first time since Q209.
