UCB Implements Changes In Its Supply Chain

Belgian drugmaker UCB has announced a change to the distribution of its medicines in the UK. The pharmaceutical firm has appointed only three companies - AAH Pharmaceuticals, Alliance Healthcare (formerly known as UniChem) and Phoenix Healthcare as its distributors in the UK, reducing the number of wholesalers it uses to circulate its drugs in the country. The company claims that this reduction will improve the availability and efficiency of access to medicines.
