A Call For Increased Pharmaceutical Trade

Despite an increase in bilateral trade between India and Argentina, India's Minister of State for Defence has said that the Indian pharmaceutical industry is facing difficulties, as it is not present in the Argentinean government's group of 27 countries allowed to export drugs to the Latin American country. As a result, Indian drugmakers are not able to export finished formulations even though Argentinean pharmaceutical manufacturers import their raw materials from India.
