Hospital Receives Accreditation

Chile's top private hospital, Clinica Alemana, has been accredited by the Joint International Commission. In 2007, the hospital initiated a voluntary process of training staff as well as reorganising and restructuring a number of administrative and healthcare-related procedures in order to achieve the accreditation. We evaluate the sector in light of this development.
