A Focus On Biomedical Research

Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez inaugurated a biotechnology research and development (R&D) centre and bioprocessing plant in early September 2009. The facility is a US$2mn investment by the country's National Institute for Industrial Technology (INTI), which aims to translate biomedical research in the country into marketable goods and services.
