Pharmaceutical Sales Increase By 21% During Q209

BMI is poised to upgrade its forecast for the US$1bn Bangladesh pharmaceutical market after primary research firm IMS Health released Q209 data. Sales of medicines in the South Asian country during April-June increased by 21% compared with the same period in 2008. This is significantly above BMI's growth projection of 12.8% for January to December 2009.
