Free Trade Agreement To Improve Intellectual Property Outlook
August 2009 | Industry Trend AnalysisCanada and Panama have revealed that negotiations over securing a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) are drawing to a close and are expected to be fully closed following a legal review. We expect the finalisation of the FTA to have positive implications for Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property (TRIPS) in both countries, in line with adherence to the World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations.
