Pharma Market To Grow By 15% CAGR

Data released by primary market research firm IMS Health and Colombia's Pharmaceutical Manufacturer's Association (AFRIDRO) reveals that pharmaceutical sales in Colombia reached COP4,466bn (US$2.27bn) in 2008. This represents impressive growth of 11.4% in local currency terms between 2007 and 2008 (compared with a -3.2% decline in the drug market between 2006 and 2007).
