BMI Forecasts 15.2% Growth For Medicine Sales In 2009

Data released by primary market research firm IMS Health reveals that pharmaceutical sales in China reached CNY52.46bn (US$7.68bn) during Q109. This represents an impressive 21.3% increase compared with the same period in the previous year. However, BMI's forecast for 2009 is more conservative. This disparity has obvious implications for drugmakers operating in the Asian country.
