Regulatory Amendments To Curb Drug Counterfeiting

The Egyptian Ministry of Health is revising its regulatory legislation to reduce the volume of counterfeit medicines entering the drug market. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization's operative International Medical Products Anti-Counterfeiting Taskforce (IMPACT) and the Egyptian police have successfully raided and seized 10 containers of fake medicines and additional consignments at Cairo airport.
