Nigerian firm MDS Logistics has expanded its presence in the country by establishing advanced drug storage to assist the distribution of drugs throughout selected regions of Nigeria. The Pharmaceutical Society (PSN) and the National Agency For Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) have been positive about MDS's activities and are urging foreign drugmakers to consider Nigeria's pharmaceutical market as increasingly attractive as a result. BMI believes this is a significant development and will attract foreign interest in areas where the supply chain is secure.
