Growth In Drug Reimbursements Remain Under 5% As Budgeted

In 2008, expenditure on the reimbursement of medicines in Finland increased to EUR1.24bn (US$1.68bn), equating to an 8.8% rise in value from 2007. Additionally, sales of reimbursed drugs reached EUR1.17bn (US$1.59bn), up 8.3% from the previous year.
