Tighter Controls On Ephedrine Imports
September 2008 | Industry NewsArgentina has become the latest country to announce tougher controls on the import of ephedrine, a chemical precursor used in the manufacture of the illegal stimulant methamphetamine. The National Industrial Technology Institute (INTI) will be responsible for the registration and tracking of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), including ephedrine and its derivatives.
