Measles Cases Rise On Vaccine Refusals
August 2008 | Industry NewsNews: According to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, 131 measles cases have been identified in the US during the seven month period ending July 31 2008. The number of cases reported is the highest in last 12 years. The increase is thought to be due to some parents' refusal to allow their children to receive the vaccination, citing philosophical or religious reasons.
