Country May Soon Be Self-Reliant In Efavirenz Production
October 2008 | Industry NewsNews: According to the Brazilian health minister, Brazil will soon be self-reliant in the production of efavirenz, a drug used in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. The statement comes after Farmanguinhos, the state-owned pharmaceutical laboratory, announced positive bioavailability trial results for its generic version of Merck & Co's Stocrin (efavirenz).
