Ministry Of Health Claims Compensation From Cigarette Agents

In a landmark legal case, Saudi Arabia's General Court in Riyadh has begun considering a lawsuit filed by the Ministry of Health against the tobacco industry. The Ministry of Health is claiming compensation of SAR10bn (US$2.7bn) and an annual payment of SR500mn (US$133.4mn) from 13 defendants, which include agents of international cigarette manufacturers according to Arab
