Updated Pharmacopoeia Planned
October 2008 | Industry NewsChile's University of Valparaiso is leading a project to update the country's pharmacopoeia. The overhaul will involve the creation of new body, known as the Chilean Pharmacopoeia Project, with responsibility for setting pharmaceutical standards. The project is expected to cost around CLP1bn (US$1.6bn) and is supported by the Ministry of Health, pharmaceutical regulator the Institute of Public Health (ISP) and domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers' association
