Generic Efavirenz To Be Produced Domestically
September 2008 | Industry NewsNews: According to Reuters, Brazil will commence the production of generic version of a key HIV/AIDS drug to reduce the cost of treatment for HIV/AIDS patients. The country's health ministry has stated that a generic version of Efavirenz, one of the 17 drugs used for treatment of HIV/AIDS, should be approved and ready for use by early 2009.
