Roche Receives Extended Indication For Chemotherapy Drug Xeloda
September 2008 | Product LaunchNews: Swiss pharmaceutical company Roche's oral chemotherapy drug, Xeloda (capecitabine), has been approved by China's State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) for the treatment of stomach cancer. The drug is already used for treating metastatic breast cancer and metastatic colorectal cancer. Xeloda has shown lower side effects and better effectiveness compared to intravenous chemotherapies during clinical experiments.
