Private Sector Must Expand To Meet Expatriate Demand

Despite a draft law proposing compulsory health insurance for expatriates, Bahrain does not yet have the capacity to meet the increased demand for healthcare that this would bring about, according to undersecretary at the Ministry of Health Aziz Hamza. Limiting factors include a lack of hospitals and the small number of insurance
