Private Hospitals To End Government Insurance Contract

Jordan's Private Hospital Association (PHA) is to end the provision of health services to the government's national health insurance scheme. According to the Jordan Times, the PHA is to walk away from long running negotiations to renew a contract under which those covered by the government's most comprehensive medical insurance scheme were eligible to receive subsidised treatment at participating private hospitals.
