Sales Representative Fee To Be Reintroduced, 12% Revenue Tax Remains

The 12% tax that drug manufacturers pay on revenues for reimbursed drugs in Hungary is to stay, and there will be a push to reintroduce the annual HUF5mn (US$29,958) registration fee for medical representatives, Hungary's health minister Tamás Székely told local news source Világgazdaság. Although not altogether unsurprising, the news will come as a further blow to drugmakers, who are increasingly disillusioned with the country's business environment, which is having a negative affect on company
