State-Owned Factories Win Government Contract

Argentina's Ministry of Health has granted a major contract to state medicine producers in a bid to support local pharmaceutical production. A contract worth ARS37mn (US$12.2mn) has been granted to 10 state-owned factories for the production of six drugs, including several antibiotics, the diuretic hydrochlorothiazine and the analgaesic aspirin.
