Viread/Truvada To Be Tested for Prevention of HIV Infection
August 2008 | Industry NewsGilead Sciences' Viread (tenofovir) and Truvada (emtricitabine) will be tested in single and combination doses in about 16,000 uninfected healthy people for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV infection in people who are at high risk of infection.
