Sanofi Pasteur To Acquire UK's Acambis
July 2008 | Company News AlertThe board of UK vaccine specialist Acambis has unanimously recommended a GBP276mn (US$547mn) takeover bid from French firm Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines arm of French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi-Aventis. The offer - a premium of 65.2% on Acambasis' share price at the time of the offer - will see another small firm lose its independence, as consolidation continues dominate industry
