FDA To Strengthen Abacavir Warning
July 2008 | Industry NewsAccording to the New York Times, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is expected to release an advisory recommending that doctors conduct a genetic test on patients with HIV/AIDS before prescribing abacavir in order to prevent severe allergic reaction to the drug.
