Chagas Treatment Simplified For Cost And Dosage Related Issues
July 2008 | Industry NewsThe Associated Press has reported that the Pharmaceutical Laboratory of Pernambuco will provide child-sized doses for Chagas disease, eliminating the need to divide adult-sized doses. Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi), an independent non-profit organisation, helped develop the treatment after the Brazilian government received the rights for benznidazole from Roche .
