Actelion Agrees US$3.3bn Licensing Deal With GSK For Insomnia Drug

Swiss biopharmaceuticals firm Actelion has secured a lucrative licensing deal with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for its insomnia candidate almorexant. In return for worldwide marketing rights (excluding Japan) to the drug, GSK could fork out as much as US$3.3bn.
