Bayer Seeks Top Spot
June 2008 | Company News AlertChina is the premier investment focus for German firm Bayer, much like the US was in the 1990s. Indeed, Bayer believes it can supplant AstraZeneca as the number one drugmaker in the world's most populous county. While possible, it is BMI's view that this is unlikely given the first mover advantage enjoyed by the Anglo-Swedish multinational AstraZeneca.
