Pharmacovigilance System Launched

Demonstrating the continued evolution of drug regulation in Namibia, the Ministry of Health and Social Services has launched its own pharmacovigilance database. The Pharmapeutics Information and Pharmacovigilance Centre (TIPC) will formalise the country's system for collecting, monitoring and broadcasting information on adverse drug reactions. The establishment of the TIPC should offer health professionals and patients better access to adverse drug reaction information relating to drugs on the country's rapidly expanding list of registered
