Kolon To Form Central Asia Joint Venture
May 2008 | Company News AlertTies between South Korea and Azerbaijan have been strengthened with a proposal for the creation of a joint venture to develop pharmaceuticals. The deal was brokered by the countries' respective trade organisations and was overseen by the president of the Central Asian republic, demonstrating the significance of the pact. Because South Korea is providing the majority of the know-how, it is BMI's view that the partnership was forged to facilitate the purchase of Azeri energy by the East Asian country.
