Maximum Drug Prices Cut
February 2008 | Industry NewsAn appreciating exchange rate has prompted the Ministry of Health to make cuts to the maximum price of prescription medicines that can be charged by pharmacies and health funds in Israel. Drugs with a maximum price of ILS100 (US$27.7) will be cut by 6.7% from March 1. The decision follows cuts to prescription medicine prices of 13% in 2007, which occurred due to alterations of the pricing model employed by the Ministry of
