Reimbursed Drug Spending Stays Within Budget
February 2008 | Industry NewsBelgium's efforts to keep drug spending down look as if they are being rewarded, with sales of reimbursed drugs increasing by less than 7% in 2007, within the national health insurance budget for the year. An increased uptake of low-cost medicines medicines has been the main reason for the success, according to pharmaceutical industry association Pharma.be.
