GPO Offers To Make Drugs Under Compulsory Licenses
March 2008 | Company News AlertThailand's leading drugmaker, the Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO), has offered to manufacture and distribute certain medicines listed under the country's controversial compulsory licensing scheme. However, it is BMI's view that the company is unlikely to be selected as the preferred provider. Indian rivals can make the drugs for less money and the facility the GPO intends to use is still being constructed.
