Medicine Shoppe Restructures Due To Challenges
March 2008 | Company News AlertUnlike most other foreign players, US-based pharmacy chain Medicine Shoppe is facing 'severe business challenges' in China, according to the local media. Its expansion plan has fallen short and restructuring of its operations is currently underway. BMI would advise the company to follow the actions of German firm Merck KGaA and persevere in China. The opportunities in the world's most populated country are too great to walk away from.
