UK firm GlaxoSmithKline's Indian over-the-counter (OTC) subsidiary, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH), is seeking to emulate its compatriot pharmaceutical division and record double-digit growth over the next few years. It hopes to achieve this goal by implementing a three-pronged strategy involving brand development, which is becoming increasingly important in India's maturing economy. BMI believes that GSKCH is well placed to outperform the market by leveraging its highly respected corporate identity.
