First EU GMP-Compliant Plant Opens

In what could herald the beginning of a trend for Vietnam's pharmaceutical industry to target more developed markets for export growth, Vietnamese-German joint venture Stada Vietnam has opened the country's first production plant built to Western manufacturing standards. The new factory, located at the Vietnam-Singapore industrial park just outside Ho Chi Minh City, is the first to receive EU good manufacturing practice (GMP)
