Pliva Completes European Divestment Drive

Croatian drugmaker Pliva has divested its Spanish operations as it brings to a close its strategy of de-coupling its non-core assets in Europe. Pliva hopes the streamlining will help boost sales, which fell in 2006, but look to be recovering somewhat in 2007.
