PO Plans Health Reform

Poland's new ruling party, the Civic Platform (PO), has announced that it is to overhaul the health service, as it plans to attract more money into the ailing system. Following the PO's victory in the October 2007 legislative elections, the party formed a reformist coalition with the Peasants Party (PSL), and has pledged to enact sounder fiscal policies and improve relations with business and the EU.
