Canadian contract drugmaker Patheon has bitten the bullet and put its loss making plant in Carolina, Puerto Rico up for sale, much to the relief of BMI. Rightly in our opinion, the company has seen the difficulties at the plant as product-specific rather than as a failure of the company's restructuring drive as a whole and chosen to retain its two other plants on the island - at Caguas and Manati - for the time
