Reckitt Benckiser Snaps Up US OTC Firm
December 2007 | FDI AlertUK-based consumer goods firm Reckitt Benckiser has increased its footprint in the healthcare market after making a bid of US$2.2bn for US OTC company Adams Respiratory Therapeutics (Adams). BMI believes the deal would give Reckitt a US portfolio to match the one it has established in Europe through the recent acquisition of Boots Healthcare International (BHI).
