Richter And Egis Expand CEE Footprint
July 2007 | Company News AlertDue to challenging operating conditions in their domestic market, Hungarian drugmakers Gedeon Richter and Egis have both increased their overseas presence to ensure sustained growth. Richter has opened a logistics centre in Romania while Egis has completed construction of a manufacturing plant in Russia. BMI endorses the strategy of the companies given the attractive investment opportunities in both destination countries. Indeed, the placing of Romania (=1), Russia (=1) and Hungary (=11) on our Central and Eastern European Business Environment Rankings justify this assertion.
