Middle East Remains Hub Of Diabetes Epidemic
May 2007 | Industry NewsThe number of adults with diabetes in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) is expected to nearly double over the next two decades from 24.5mn to 44.5mn according to new research form the International Diabetes Federation. What is more the number of people with Impaired Glucose Tolerance (IGT), or pre-diabetes, will also rise to 38.6mn from 22.4mn unless governments in the region take action to reverse this
