Teva, Mylan Compete For Merck KGaA's Generics Arm
May 2007 | Industry NewsThe race for the generics business of Germany's Merck KGaA looks to be heading into the final stages with two firms thought to be leading the bidding - Israel's Teva , and US-based Mylan. At the time of press, Teva appears to have the upper hand, due to its larger market cap, although company officials have been silent on the possibility of a deal. However, Mylan could still surprise with an aggressive offer.
