Drug Industry Damns Doctor Deal
April 2007 | Industry NewsThe French pharmaceutical industry has criticised a decision by national health insurer UNCAM to increase the fee for a doctor's consultation by EUR2 (US$2.71). As of 2008, general practitioners will earn EUR23 (US$31.16) for each consultation; however, drugmakers fear that the extra money will come out the drug budget.
