Crusade Against Fake Drugs Gathers Momentum

With BMI believing that Nigeria's drug market remains undervalued considering the size of the population, we examine drug regulator NAFDAC's ongoing efforts in the fight against counterfeit medicines. This illicit trade is a key reason that Nigerian drug expenditure, in a country of 141mn, was only US$218mn in 2006, and is forecast to reach just US$256mn by 2011.
